About our technology

For over a decade now we’ve been tinkering in our workshops at Zennor with ideas for a wood fuelled engine. Our ideas break down into sections; the principle sub-components of a new engine. There may yet be other more sophisticated engine variants that could use the sub-components we’ve developed, but a condensing steam engine is probably the simplest engine to start with.

Whilst our new rotary motor and our experimental combustion unit may look like reasonably well engineered items, they are in fact built mainly from waste, recycled and adapted parts and materials, and on a surprisingly low budget.
